Personal profile
Research Focus
I am interested in the role of diet in health and environmental sustainability, and especially whether there are synergies or trade-offs when meeting these important demands. My Ph.D is focused on sustainable protein sources and plant-based diets in healthy muscle ageing. This will involve a range of methods including systematic review, cohort analysis, intervention study analysis and diet modelling.
Other
I graduated in 2017 with a first class honours in Geography (BSc) and again in 2018 with a distinction in Public Health (MPH), each from Queen's University Belfast. Following this, I spent some time working at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) where I was involved in qualitative research and stakeholder engagement within the EU Interreg ALICE project.
