Rohit's research interests include green IS, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the business value of IT. His work has been published in ABS4*/4 journals such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Research Policy, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information Systems Journal. Journal of Information Technology, and European Journal of Information Systems. His PhD Dissertation won the World Future Foundation Ph.D. Prize in Environmental and Sustainability Research (2015). He is also the winner of the Society for Information Management Best Paper Award for 2010.  His co-authored paper “Supply Chain Disruptions and Business Continuity: An Empirical Assessment” published in Decision Sciences, was one of the five papers nominated for best paper published in Decision Sciences Journal in 2020. He has also received funding from Canada's Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. He is currently the associate editor at the European Journal of Information Systems and Guest Editor at the Journal of Strategic Information Systems.
