PhD Title: "Full Battery Pack Modelling for Heavy-Duty Vehicle Applications"

Ryan is studying for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the Sir William Wright Technology Centre, School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His research focuses on modelling and experimentally characterising battery packs for heavy-duty vehicles, where he considers electrical, thermal, and degradation aspects of battery behaviour.
Cell Modelling, Pack Modelling, Electric Vehicles, Cell Degradation.
Ryan holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from Queen's University Belfast. He was awarded a DfE studentship to study for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the Sir William Wright Technology Centre.
