Prior to undertaking doctoral research, I worked full-time as an Immigration Adviser, securing accreditation to OISC Level 2 to provide complex advice. During this time, I delivered training presentations to local employers and further education colleges on the EU Settlement Scheme and provided immigration advice to refugees at Ukraine Assistance Centres throughout Northern Ireland.
