I am open to students wishing to undertake a PhD in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Composite Materials. In particular students wishing to focus on lightning strike, thermal, electrical, impact, and extreme event modelling, using tools such as ABAQUS, or students wishing to focus on testing of carbon- and flax-reinforced composites.
