Personal profile

Teaching

I co-ordinate and teach the PGCE English Course.

Research Interests

My research interests include the role of teachers and schools in supporting the emotional and mental health needs of children and young people. My doctoral research investigated teachers' experience of a role in suicide-prevention in a school setting.

I am also interested in English education and literacy, particularly writing skills and reading comprehension.
