PhD projects

Dr McDade functional genomics (FGG) lab, utilises a range of genomic technologies (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, CRISPR screen) and integrative data analysis tools to identify novel treatment strategies to improve treatment of cancer patients outcomes.

The labs field of interest include:
- Transcription factor dysfunction in cancer
- Epigenetic lab and data analysis tool development
- Colorectal, Prostate and Squamous cancer
- Data analysis and Shiny app development

We are open to wide ranging lab and data analysis projects from those with a background biology, genomics, data analysis and computational backgrounds. Previous research experience is desirable although not essential
