Research Statement
Stavros Vlachos is a Research Fellow in Economics at Queen's Management School. He is an applied economist with primary research interests in agri-food sector, energy, environment, health and economic behaviour. His secondary research interests focus upon experimental methodology and education. His research has been supported by funding from Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland (ADRC-NI) and UK Energy Research Centre. Stavros is currently working on a range of research projects including the impact of ambient pollution on health outcomes and the effect of exclusion from school on education attainment and labour market outcomes. He is also carrying out work on the role of ageing and gender in households' energy decisions.
