Personal profile

Research Interests

At present, I find interest in themes associated with spatial analyses and urban visualisation, esoteric geographies, biography and planning, cultural expressions and imaginations in planning and design, community-led urban design practices, urban development, and visual geographies with an emphasis on urban narratives presented through photography.

The (current) title of my PhD thesis is "The Imperial Facade" which aims to deconstruct the biography of Sir Charles Lanyon, and associated persons, towards understanding planning and architectural attitudes in the colonial context of Victorian Belfast.
