Research Statement

I am currently undertaking my PhD in the School of Psychology, with Dr Katrina McLaughlin as primary supervisor and Dr Teresa Rushe as secondary supervisor.

My research on fathers and intergenerational transmission of parenting focuses on the adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), attachment styles and mental health of fathers in Northern Ireland and the effects on their children. 

Achievements

I have graduated from Queen's University Belfast with First Class Honours in BSc Psychology and Distinction in MSc Psychology of Childhood Adversity.
