Projects in nutritional epidemiology and preventive nutrition from biomarker studies to intervention trials. Different topics on the role of diet in the prevention of chronic diseases possible, depending on personal interests and skills. Personal profile

Research Focus

For my research I am using epidemiological studies including cohorts and dietary intervention trials. I am interested in nutritional epidemiology and preventive nutrition, with a focus on cancer and cardio-metabolic diseases. Further specific topics I am working on at the moment are intermittent fasting, plant-based diets, body composition and metabolic health, or nutritional support for cancer patients.
