Dr Tripti Sharma is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at Queen's Business School. Her research is in household finance, asset pricing and real estate. She is particularly interested in equity release mortgages, demand and supply side risks underlying housing equity release products, housing energy efficiency, financial literacy and forex trading strategies. She teaches financial econometrics and actuarial modelling at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, respectively. Before moving to Queen's, Tripti was a senior post-doctoral researcher for FINTECHNEXT at University College Cork, IE. In the past, Tripti has worked in life insurance in Mumbai, India.
