Research Focus

Tripti Sharma is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at Queen’s Business School. Her research is in household finance, asset pricing and real estate. She is interested in equity release mortgages, demand and supply side risks underlying housing equity release products, housing energy efficiency, financial literacy and forex trading strategies. Her current research project investigates private market solutions to fund the cost of improving home energy efficiency.

Particulars

Tripti joined Queen's Business School following a senior post-doctoral fellowship in a research project titled FINTECHNEXT at University College Cork, IE, from 2019-21. She holds a PhD in Finance and an MSc in Risk Management and Financial Regulation from Queen’s University Belfast, UK. She has a BA (Honours) in Mathematics from the University of Delhi. Before joining academia, Tripti worked in the life insurance industry in India, handling actuarial pricing of insurance products.
