Research Focus

William Keohane is a writer from Limerick. His essays and poems have been published in The Stinging Fly, The Dublin Review, and Poetry Ireland Review, among others. He is currently a PhD candidate in poetry at the Seamus Heaney Centre in Queen’s University Belfast, funded through a Northern Bridge Scholarship from the UK’s Arts and Humanities Research Council. Transpoetics is his area of critical research, and Boxing Day, a 52-poem sequence, is the creative component of his thesis.
