Research Focus

www.atlasilab.com

We are interested in mechanisms of epigenetic regulation in health and disease. We use embryonic stem cells and tissue derived organoids, as two main experimental models, to explore the epigenetic parallels between embryonic, adult, and cancer stem cells. For this aim, we use state-of-the-art genomics and proteomics approaches combined with computational biology to make fundamental discoveries that can ultimately solve important health challenges within society.
