Research Interests

My PhD thesis supervised by Dr. Piotr Blumczynski and Dr. Chen-En Ho is about translating knowledge, in which I'm looking at the subtitles of Chinese online open courses. My research interests contains subtitle, surtitle, interpreting process, memory, and interpreter training. 

Research Statement

I'm doing my second year of PhD in Queen's University of Belfast.

I studied English at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from 2011 to 2015, where my dissertation was about the translation of culture-related expressions in the Government Report of China. In 2015, I enrolled in Masters' of Translation and Interpreting (MTI) in Jilin University. As an Interpreting student, I practiced my skills through voluntary or paid work, including intern in the International office of Jilin University, subtitler in Changchun cinemas, and telephone interpreter for G20 Hangzhou Sumit
