The award also acknowledges the application of appropriate core knowledge, such as understanding how learners learn, both generally and within specific subjects, along with the use of suitable teaching methods tailored to the subject and level of study. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of critical evaluation as a basis for effective practice, and recognises the individual’s ability to provide effective and inclusive assessment, feedback, support, and guidance to learners.
