Description

UDRC researcher Dr Rolf Baxter and Prof. Robertson won the coveted Dstl prize on their recent challenge competition on anomaly detection from wide area motion imagery (WAMI). The challenge was to identify anomalies from 17 minutes of video captured by an airborne platform. Baxter and Robertson won the competition by identifying the highest number of verified anomalies while while producing fewest false-detections.
