Research into oesophageal adenocarcinoma and Barrett's oesophagus. In this national competition our work was one of two shortlisted for the award narrowly missing out on first place. For the first time ever and due to the quality of the work we were given a 'Highly Commended' acknowledgement and invited to the awards ceremony in London where a certificate was presented.
