Northern Ireland Engineering Excellence Award

This is awarded by the IET Northern Ireland in recognition of an individual's significant achievements through their career and their major contributions to further the engineering profession in Northern Ireland. Previous winners of the award have included: Paul Gardner (whilst Manufacturing Director of Schrader Electronics), Jayne Brady (then Partner at Kernel Capital, now Head of NI Civil Service), and Sir John McCanny (then Regius Professor of Electronics and Computer Engineering at Queen's University Belfast).
