Paper selected of high quality and high research interest

The paper entitled "Subsurface defect detection in concrete using infrared thermography" presented in SHMII-10 was selected as high quality by the Best paper award committee. Therefore, the extended version of the paper was invited for publication in the Journal of Civil Structural Health Monitoring (JCSHM) published by Springer. The JCSHM Journal is the official and only journal of the ISHMII society, in which the 10 to 20 best contributions from ISHMII conferences and workshops are to be published in an extended version.
