Prof. M. Sonebi was honoured by the organising committee during RILEM convention/CMSS2023 in Rabat-Morocco (https://www.rsc-cmss23.asmatec.org) to his dedication to promote sustainable construction materials to cut greenhouse emissions, to his activities as RILEM convenor Middle East and North Africa (https://www.rilem.net/mena), to his significant contribution/organisation as a chair of the scientific committee of 4 series of CMSS (2013, 2017, 2021 and 2023), and to successful bring with ASMATEC "RILEM Convention 2023" in Africa for the first time.
