The project was awarded £12,500 in Proof of Principle (PoP) funding from Queen’s University Belfast to support the development of a smartphone application for our nitrate sensor, aimed at enabling real-time water quality monitoring. I served as the Principal Scientist on this project, leading the scientific development and integration of the colorimetric sensing platform with mobile technology.
