The Award was organised by the School Postgraduate Research Committee in order to recognize the importance of the PhD student cohort towards the research undertaken in the School of EEECS, Queen’s University of Belfast, UK.
The Award is given to PhD students who lead a piece of research that is published in high-quality venues and consists of a certificate and a financial reward of £100.
The Award was decided on the basis of the standing of the publication venue according to independent assessment through SCIMAGOJR for journals and ERA and Qualis for conferences.
