Learning from UK-India experiences in planning and architecture education.
This project has the following Aims:
1. To foster trans-cultural reflection on the nature of planning and architectural education in an increasing globalised professional and educational context.
2. To promote pedagogical engagement as part of universities’ internationalisation strategies for the built environment.
3. To engage students in the understanding of the cultural and pedagogical contexts for planning and architectural education in UK and India.
4. To strengthen the capacity of UK planning and architecture schools to engage in internationalisation activities with counterparts in India through the initiation of a UK-India Network for Planning and Architectural Education (UINPAE).
