国家翻译实践中译者伦理的建构：以《礼记·大学》为导向

Guojia Translational Programme is a term with Chinese characteristics. It cannot be translated into “institutional translation” or “translating the nation” directly as Guojia—literally “family-state” —is different from an “institution”, nor “nation-state”. To understand the practice, therefore, it is necessary to explore the connotations of the term from Chinese philosophical perspective. Meanwhile, translators’ ethics play a crucial role in the discussion of such Programme. The paper, therefore, tends to use the ethics discussed in the Book of Rites: Great Learning to construct the translators’ ethics in Guojia Translational Programme. The translators need to improve their translation in translation practice, and the translation practice has to abide by the national strategy. Hence, the translators’ polishing their translation, their responsibility to the institution, the management of the Guojia, and attracting the international audience by translation are interconnected.
