Abstract

Alignment editing of motion filming in 360 are still at experimental stage when it comes to optimizing user quality of experience of a final 360 edit. Sequencing and jump cuts in 360 are still very much debated. This 360 short film experiments with the concept of motion filming and alignment editing to minimize jump cuts and induce a sequence-like experience of the final edit.

This motion 360 film is the basis of an in-preparation journal article. The video is embargoed until the forthcoming article is published.
