Abstract

This report reviews current and proposed reforms to key anti-social behaviour legislation covering public space in Northern Ireland. It adopts a comparative approach exploring how corresponding legislation is drafted and operates in neighbouring jurisdictions in the United Kingdom (UK) and the Republic of Ireland (RoI). In doing so, it identifies the legislative reforms most suitable for the unique political and social context of Northern Ireland.
