Abstract
In this article, a new single-phase reduced-switch-count inverter is proposed. The proposed inverter can supply energy independently to two ac loads and is capable of both stepping up and stepping down the input voltage. A detailed pulse-width modulation strategy is presented for the proposed inverter, which can generate both equal-frequency and different-frequency output voltages simultaneously. Finally, simulations are performed in PSIM, and the waveforms are provided, which verify the functionality of the proposed topology.
