This is the report of the Ministerial Advisory Group on Advancing Shared Education, appointed by the Minister of Education in 2012. The Group was chaired by Professor Paul Connolly. The work of the Group included detailed reviews of existing research evidence, surveys of parents and children and extensive public consultations with key stakeholders. The final report contained 20 recommendations, all of which were subsequently accepted by the Minister.
