Caring for older people: a shared approach. London

Based on research with older people, this single authored textbook was written for undergraduate health and social care curricula demonstrating how older people’s research can develop practice. Sage commissioned this textbook following a conference presentation to develop their gerontology textbook provision. This book is relevant to undergraduate pre and post registration nurses and allied health professionals. It is currently being used in higher and further education institutions as well as in practice. Book reviews from the UK and Europe suggest it is a practical and useful guide for people working with older people in any setting providing practical suggestions for delivering care. It has been described as a timely textbook and an essential ward teaching and mentoring tool.
