Abstract

The objectives of this study are as follows:
Co-design a freely accessible digital intervention tailored for healthcare staff responsible for providing care to care home residents
➢ Pilot the intervention across care homes in Northern Ireland
➢ Explore the barriers associated with identifying, assessing, and minimising the use of restrictive practices in care homes
➢ Explore the perspectives of care home staff on how the intervention may have improved, or could enhance, the overall quality of life for the older individuals residing in care homes
