Abstract

Within the European commission Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), the project CONSORTIS (Concealed Object Stand-Off Real-Time Imaging for Security) has designed and is fabricating a stand-off system operating at sub-millimeter wave frequencies. This system will scan people as they walk past the sensor. The aim of the project is to produce a system which has a high probability of detection, low false alarm rates, is non-invasive and respects privacy
