Abstract
The overall aim of the research is to examine the use of stop and search from the perspective of PSNI officers as they progress from the SOTP through to deployment in districts over a twelve-month period. The research is centred specifically around PACE-type powers and is not intended to examine issues related to the use of JSA or TA powers. The phase three report represents the final phase of the research.
