Abstract

This chapter examines the justifications and ethics of prison research using a critical feminist standpoint. Derived from original ethnographic data collected in Hydebank Wood Prison for women, the work explores how the implementation of feminist research manifests, whilst considering the ethical dilhemmas that arise in the process.
