Abstract

Information science continues to debate distinctions between data, information, and knowledge, from both historical and contemporary perspectives. A strong focus has been on the forms of thought and expression associated with each of the terms in ordinary discourse. This poster deepens the congruence with ordinary discourse, by replacing the focus on forms of thought with a concentration on modes of production and of use.
