Abstract

It tells the story of the growth of Queen's from a small college of just under 200 undergraduates to an important university of some 14,000 full-time and part-time students. The book records the lives and activities of the scholars and students of Queen's, and gives fascinating glimpses of a university playing a major role in the intellectual and cultural, social and sporting life of the times. A very attractive book for anyone interested in Queen's past and present.
