Digital metering device for economic selection of consumer tariff

Abstract

This paper outlines the development of a metering device which can analyse a consumer's electricity consumption, and indicate if the adoption of an Economy 7 tariff, in place of the Standard Rate tariff, would be beneficial. This paper covers the design, construction and testing of a device prototype.
