Abstract
In 2018, the education programme within the Carrickfergus Townscape Heritage Initiative funded an investigation into Dobbins Inn, Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim. This building had not previously undergone formal investigation, and this paper describes the work undertaken to reveal the remains of a 16th century tower house.
