Abstract
Interest in early intervention support services has grown internationally and nationally. In Northern Ireland significant funding has been made available by government departments and Atlantic Philanthropies under the Early Intervention Transformation programme to bring real changes to the lives of young children.This article considers the development of one service - the Early Intervention Support Service - and an ongoing evaluation to measure its impact and effectiveness.
