Abstract

The in-situ properties of concrete when cast in flowing water were investigated experimentally. The effect of the type and dosage of anti-washout admixture (AWA) and W/CM on the relationship between water velocity and washout mass loss of concrete was considered. Results revealed that the washout resistance of concrete increases with increasing AWA dosage.
