Abstract

Invited presentation to an international workshop on 'Evaluating Post-Pandemic Cultural Regeneration Strategies in Post-Industrial Urban Regions' at the Centre for Global Studies, University of Pittsburgh. The workshop was organised by Sabina Dietrick (Graduate School of Public Affairs, University of Pittsburgh) and Michael Glass (Urban Studies, University of Pittsburgh). Other participants included Louise Kempton and Allison Clark (University of Newcastle), Karsten Zimmerman (TU Dortmund), Christine Liefooghe (Universite Lille). Outcomes from the workshop include a special session at the International Conference on Urban Affairs, NYC April 24-27, 2024 and a book proposal for Routledge on Rebuilding the Post-Industrial City through Cultural Regeneration.
