The quality of questions determines the level of examination directly in the assessments of medical education. The evaluation and analysis of questions in the examination play important roles in improving the quality of examination and optimising and updating the question bank. This paper critically reviewed the questions of the clinical skills competition of national medical college students used in North and Northeast China division, and illustrated their significance of difficulty, discrimination and reliability in detail. Moreover, we used the statistical software, SPSS, to present the value of those parameters, which could help lecturers in the evaluation of the test questions for examinations in the higher medical universities and colleges.
