Abstract

The purpose of this report is to provide an understanding of the nature, characteristics and identification of Mozambique’s Cabrito de Tete and Identify the challenges and issues concerning maintaining the status quo of GI protection for
Cabrito de Tete. While appraising the issues, the study is primarily focused on telling the story of the first registered African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation – Cabrito de Tete.
