Abstract

Several rectifiers using different diodes arepresented in this work. The rectifiers are designed and tested forhigh power input RF conditions. The tested circuits are designedfor 2.45 GHz of operating frequency, and implemented withradial stubs to obtain optimum matching conditions. The classF design methodology is used here in order to suppress higherorder harmonics. The results confirm that the rectifiers areefficiently converting the RF power in to usable dc power for arange of RF power values. Note that there are very few studiesin the literature comparing currently available off the shelfdiodes for RF rectification applications, making this paper avaluable design tool for efficient far field wireless power transfersystems.
