Abstract

This chapter presents an overview of the current state of the art with regard to models for the assessment of examining the effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs). The chapter is divided into four subsections, which include the following: in vitro models, ecological models, murine models, and human models for the assessment of EDC effects.
