Abstract
This book mobilises engagement with the question of how the critical study of the university is to be advanced in our scholarship, framing, practice and praxes within, beyond and/or against traditions and trajectories of the past and present. While framed affirmatively, it is also a space of refusal. Refusal of the status quo, of the taken for granted, and of hegemonic powers and violences that continue within and outside higher education institutions.
