Medium of Output: Theatrical Performance (as Director, SNEAKY Productions)Brief details of Performance: SNEAKY's first production took the festival audience away from the comfort of the theatre space, down Winecellar entry and into the dimly lit, smoky chatter of Belfast's oldest tavern. The bar functioned as literal and imaginary setting, while my own tailor-made projections served as living backdrops, extending the actual stage space to encompass the silent threat of the city beyond. The play has since gone on to be given a platform reading at the National Theatre (London) where McGee (a fellow Queen's graduate) will take up a residency in September. A film is in advanced stages of pre-production.
"Right from the cleverly shot and edited pre-credits sequence... Harden keeps his foot on the accelerator... [with his] fast-moving cast of seven delivering an O'Cohen Brothers take on Belfast-on-the-Fargo"
