information about the situation of language teaching
and learning. The aims of this research are: (i) to
track the trends of language learning over the
years; (ii) to assess the impact of policy measures
in relation to International Languages; and (iii) to
analyse strengths and weaknesses of the current
context of International Language teaching and
learning, based both on quantitative data and on
views expressed by teachers. This year, Language
