Abstract
Radiative lifetimes have been measured for fine-structure transitions in the intercombination [Formula Presented] decay in [Formula Presented] Use was made of a Kingdon ion trap installed on a beam line for highly charged ions. The radiative rates [Formula Presented] derived from the lifetime measurements are [Formula Presented] for the [Formula Presented] sublevel, [Formula Presented] for the [Formula Presented] sublevel, and [Formula Presented] for the [Formula Presented] sublevel. Comparisons with other measurements and results of theories are given.
